Pricing and commitment2

What does Kara cost, and is there a trial?

Three plans: Copier at €9.99, Journal at €14.99 and Complete at €19.99 per month. Each starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card — you only enter a payment method if you decide to carry on. There is no permanent free plan: past the trial, use is paid.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, from the app or the web app: no notice, no justification, no fee. You keep your account and your trades, within the retention periods stated in the privacy policy.

Product and compatibility4

Which platforms are supported?

MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, Rithmic for futures, and around a hundred crypto exchanges including Binance and Bybit. If your broker runs on one of those, the connection works in the vast majority of cases — and you can test it during the trial, in three minutes. The execution terminal and the copier work on MetaTrader and cTrader.

Does Kara work with prop firms?

Yes. 44 prop firms are preconfigured from their published rules — phases, daily loss, trading hours, macro releases — and the copier applies the thresholds you approve: nothing to re-type. Two caveats: triggering depends on your broker connection and market conditions, and some firms restrict third-party copiers — check your contract. Kara watches your firm's rules; it does not replace them.

I'm coming from another journal — do I lose my history?

You keep your original account, and Kara re-imports all the history your broker still exposes — how far back depends on your broker. Nothing forces you to cancel straight away: run both tools side by side for as long as it takes to compare.

Do I have to install the app?

No. Kara ships as a desktop application (Windows, Linux) and as a web app. Same account, same data on both.

Data and support3

Where does my data go?

Broker credentials are encrypted and your trades stay attached to your account. Kara does not sell your data and never passes it on for commercial purposes; it is shared only with the technical providers the service needs, listed in the privacy policy.

Who builds Kara?

A French team. The application ships in French and English, and we answer on Discord or by e-mail — not through a form that never replies.

How do I get help?

Through Discord, by e-mail, or from the forms built into the application. A human answers — usually the same day on Discord.
