Most bad trades are taken while waiting. A well-placed alert replaces the waiting: you come back when price reaches your level, not before.
Kara also warns about what does not show on the chart: a daily loss at 70% of the limit, a copier blocked by a changed password, a high-impact release on a currency you trade.

What Kara does differently
- Alerts do not stop at price: challenge limits, copier outages and releases go through the same channels.
- A drawing can become an alert, with combined conditions, instead of a plain price line.
- Prop-firm limits warn before the breach, at 70% and 90%, not when the account is already lost.
- Platforms
- Price alerts fire with the application closed on the main crypto venues and on stock quotes; on other markets, including Rithmic futures, they fire in the open application.

Do alerts work with the application closed?
Yes for the main crypto venues and stock quotes, which Kara's server watches. On other markets, including Rithmic futures, they only fire in the open application.
Which channels can I receive alerts on?
Telegram (Kara bot), Discord (private message from the Kara server's bot, Discord account linked) and email. A button lets you send a test.
Can I be warned before breaking a prop-firm rule?
Yes: at 70%, 90% and 100% of the tracked challenge's daily loss and maximum drawdown, and when the target is reached.
