TradeDay and automated trading
- Algos and robots bought from a third party forbidden; a strategy of your own, run from a supported platform (NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Jigsaw, Quantower), is allowed. The Tradovate API is not open.
- More than 200 trades a day or very high-frequency scalping is forbidden. Several users placing the same trades get their accounts closed.
- Copier allowed between your own accounts; a Funded Live account cannot be copied with a Funded Sim.

Does TradeDay allow EAs?
Yes, with conditions: TradeDay allows automated strategies within a defined framework. For a trade-manager EA, which places and manages the order you decided, have support confirm. Algos and robots bought from a third party forbidden; a strategy of your own, run from a supported platform (NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Jigsaw, Quantower), is allowed. The Tradovate API is not open.
Can I copy trades between my TradeDay accounts?
Yes, with conditions. Copier allowed between your own accounts; a Funded Live account cannot be copied with a Funded Sim.
How much does a TradeDay challenge cost?
From $125 to $350 per month depending on the account, prices recorded on July 24, 2026 excluding promotions. Monthly subscription.
