Install and subscribe

Desktop or browser#

There are two ways to use Kara, with the same account. You do not have to choose: many traders keep the desktop app at their desk and the web app everywhere else.

Create your account#

   Open the application or the web app, then choose Create one now!.

   Enter a username, your email address and a password.

   The username is 30 characters at most. The password needs at least 8 characters, including a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and a digit.

   Accept the terms of use and the privacy policy, then Create my account.

   Confirm your address with the code sent by email.

   The code is valid for 15 minutes. If it has expired, ask for a new one from the sign-in screen.

You can also sign in with your Google account: Sign in with Google, on the sign-in screen.

The 14-day free trial#

The trial opens everything for two weeks: journal, copier and terminal, up to 3 tracked accounts, no credit card. It starts from within the application, with the Start my free trial button.

• The application shows the days left while the trial runs.
• A Kara account gets the trial only once.
• When the trial ends without a subscription, your accounts and history stay saved; the modules reopen as soon as you subscribe.

The three plans#

The Quantitative section follows its own logic: simulating a strategy costs nothing, optimisation and the Kara AI assistant are paid in compute tokens, and connecting a strategy to an account requires a plan that includes the copier. Everything is detailed in Automated strategies.

Active and archived accounts#

Each plan includes a number of active accounts, meaning accounts tracked live. Beyond that, add extra accounts to your subscription, or archive an account you no longer use.

An archived account no longer counts towards your subscription and is no longer tracked, but its history stays in your journal, your All-Data account and your rank. Archiving can be undone at any time, within your active account limit. See Connect your accounts.

Change plan or cancel#

Everything happens in Settings > Subscription, without going through support.

• Changing plan or number of accounts applies immediately. If the new amount is higher, the difference is charged; if it is lower, the surplus is deducted from the next payments.
• Cancelling: the subscription runs until the end of the paid period, then stops. No notice period, no fee.
• Your data stays: accounts and history are kept even after the subscription ends.
• Invoices: Settings > Invoices. Payment methods are managed in Subscription.
